January 2026 : Century Plyboards (India) Limited has recently announced the elevation of Dr. Sandip Pradhan to the role of Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). This strategic move signals the company’s commitment to aggressive digital growth and technological resilience in a competitive manufacturing landscape.

Dr. Pradhan is a veteran in the IT domain with over three decades of experience driving high-impact transformations. Before joining Century Plyboards in 2025 - where he initially served as VP and CIO - he spent nearly eight years as the CIO of Exide Industries Limited. His portfolio also includes a significant stint as the Head of IT at Mangalam Cement Ltd (B K Birla Group)

Dr. Pradhan holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Kaziranga University and an MBA in IT from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. He is a National Scholarship holder with a B.Sc (Hons.) in Statistics from Kalyani University and has earned specialized certifications from Uptron ACL, Pentasoft Technologies (IBM Certification), and the Indian School of Business (ISB).
