May 2023 : IIT Indore and IITI Drishti CPS Foundation are jointly organizing a five-day course on Reliability Engineering for industry professionals. Conducted under the DIA Programme of the Royal Academy of Engineering, this course will be held from 26-30 June 2023 at the IIT Indore campus.

The course will provide an opportunity to discuss reliability related specific problems with national and international experts. Participants will get hands-on experience of using industry grade software tools as well as of using open-source programming platforms. The course also includes tutorials complementing various concepts that are taught in the theory lectures. Since the batch size is limited only to 20-25 participants, there will be enough scope for personalized interactions. Besides earning a Certificate of participation from IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation, participants will also get an opportunity to build a long-term association with the experts.

The course will cover important topics related to reliability engineering like:
Fundamentals of reliability engineering,
Bathtub curve & its significance in product design,
Life data analysis techniques,
Reliability estimation, system reliability estimation
Concept of maintainability & availability,
Failure mode & effect analysis (FMEA),
Warranty analysis,
Spares and logistics management,
Diagnostics and prognostics, &
Concept of asset management.

The overall course duration is 30 hours and the last date of registration is 25 June 2023. The course fee is only ₹5,000 per participant and it is payable only after confirmation of shortlisting.
