June 2025 : Force Motors recently announced a significant milestone in its robust partnership with BMW Group India, rolling out the 100,000th engine from its state-of-the-art engine assembly facility in Chennai. This landmark engine was specially fitted into a BMW X5, marking a decade of successful collaboration.

The achievement not only signifies a substantial volume accomplishment but also underscores a decade-long partnership founded on engineering excellence, shared values, and a strong commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The commemorative roll-out was attended by key dignitaries including Mr. Marcus Wollens, Vice President, BMW Production Network 2, BMW AG; Mr. Thomas Dose, Managing Director, BMW Group Plant Chennai; and Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd.

Established in 2015, the Chennai facility was purpose-built to manufacture engines for the entire range of BMW cars produced in India. With advanced automated lines, stringent quality controls, and digitally integrated operations, the plant consistently meets BMW Group’s global manufacturing standards, significantly contributing to its India operations and localization strategy.
