Oct 2026 : India Pistons Limited (IPL), the flagship company of Amalgamations Group, has appointed Suresh KV as its Chief Executive Office. His appointment marks a high-profile return to corporate leadership following a nearly three-year sabbatical dedicated to social causes, local cultural engagement, property restoration, and personal finance management in his home state of Kerala.

Suresh brings nearly 35 years of rich manufacturing and executive experience to India Pistons, a major component supplier to industry giants including Hyundai Motor Company, Maruti Suzuki, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, VE Commercial Vehicles, Simpsons & Co, TAFE, Mahindra Group, and Greaves Cotton.

His distinguished career kicked off at Asian Paints, followed by eight years at Bajaj Auto as Operations Manager. He subsequently held manufacturing and operational leadership roles at Visteon Automotive Systems, Climate Systems India, Motherson Sumi Systems, and High Technology Plastics India (a Philips enterprise). He later joined Hansen Transmissions, which was acquired by ZF. Suresh rose to Executive Director of ZF Wind Power Coimbatore before serving as President of ZF Group India. At ZF, he led national strategy, governance, and business performance across 18 manufacturing plants, eight engineering centers, three subsidiaries, and four joint ventures, while also representing the group in ACMA’s Executive Committee.

Suresh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering and Management from the National Institute of Technology Calicut and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Manufacturing Management from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.
