June 2026 : JSW Motors Limited has taken a decisive step toward its next era of digital transformation by appointing Sudhir Kataria as Associate Vice President - Head of Enterprise Applications & Plant IT. Based out of Aurangabad, Kataria steps into this pivotal role to orchestrate the integration of cutting-edge technology across the company’s enterprise and plant operations, reinforcing JSW Motors’ blueprint for a future-ready, intelligent manufacturing ecosystem.

In this position, Kataria will champion the company's shift toward data-driven agility. His immediate focus will center on scaling up enterprise applications, upgrading plant IT infrastructure, and embedding smart factory capabilities directly into the production floor. By bridging the gap between advanced corporate IT strategy and shop-floor execution, his leadership aims to spark sustainable business growth, maximize operational efficiency, and catalyze technology innovation.

Before taking the helm at JSW Motors, Kataria dedicated over seven years to Morris Garages (MG) India. His formidable track record also includes a foundational 12-year tenure at General Motors India, alongside critical early-career roles at Satyam Computers and Mahindra Consulting.

Kataria’s technical journey is backed by a solid academic foundation built right here in Maharashtra. He is an alumnus of Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College, and his early engineering acumen was shaped during his formative years at Government Polytechnic and SFS.
