June 2022 : Toyota's compact car Compact Cruiser EV has won the renowned 2022 Car Design Award.

Made by the group based at Toyota ED2 (ED Square) in Nice, the Compact Cruiser EV was first divulged in December last year at the Mega Web in Tokyo.

Expanding on's areas of strength for Toyota's street legacy, the Compact Cruiser EV is intended to improve the ways of life of its objective clients - youthful, proficient metropolitan occupants who appreciate dynamic open-air recreation interests - with an extraordinarily captivating, go-anyplace, all-wheel-drive EV experience.

Its rough and intense outside gets various styling prompts from the amazing original Land Cruiser including a notorious rough terrain outline and basic, solid body segments.

The Car Design Award for Concept Vehicles was introduced to Toyota during a service held at the ADI Design Museum in Milan during the yearly Milano Design Week and world-eminence Salone del Mobile - the Milan Furniture Fair.

Laid out in 1984 by Fulvio Cinti, pioneer and proofreader in-head of Auto&Design magazine for north of 30 years, the Car Design Award is separated into three classifications: Production Vehicles, Concept Vehicles, and Brand Design language and Overall Consistency.

Victors of the Car Design Award are chosen by a global jury of 11 specialists illustrative of the absolute most renowned car magazines on the planet.
