The announcement comes at a pivotal time for Agratas, Tata Group’s global battery manufacturing arm, as it scales its operations in Gujarat to meet the burgeoning demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

Sharma joins the Tata ecosystem following an illustrious tenure at Ford Motor Company, where he spent over five and a half years driving large-scale operational excellence. During his time at Ford, Sharma held dual high-impact roles, serving as Director Deployment and Director Transformation - International Market Group.

His expertise in Manufacturing Process Improvement, Change Management, and Business Analysis was instrumental in navigating the complexities of the international automotive landscape. His ability to manage high-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across diverse markets has positioned him as a heavyweight in industrial transformation - a skill set that aligns perfectly with Agratas’ mission to build a world-class battery ecosystem from the ground up.

A mechanical engineer by trade, Sharma is an alumnus of the prestigious Delhi College of Engineering, where he earned his Bachelor in Technology.
