Oct 2026 : Uno Minda Ltd. has recently appointed Amit Yadav as Head of Manufacturing. Based out of Pune, Maharashtra, Yadav brings over a decade of hands-on expertise in shop-floor operations, production planning, lean execution, and continuous improvement. In his new leadership role, he will focus on driving plant operational excellence, optimizing resource allocation, streamlining workflow efficiency, and enforcing strict safety compliance across facility operations.

Throughout his career, Yadav has specialized in implementing Lean Manufacturing frameworks, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices, and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles. His core strengths lie in enhancing shop-floor capacity utilization, budget forecasting, inventory control, and workforce management to achieve sustainable, high-quality production outputs. At Uno Minda, Yadav aims to leverage data-driven production strategies to refine manufacturing performance and support the company's commitment to delivering high-precision automotive solutions.

Prior to joining Uno Minda, Yadav served as Head of Manufacturing at Krishna Maruti Group in Ahmedabad and held dual leadership roles as Head of Manufacturing and Head of Production during a three-and-a-half-year tenure at Lumax World. Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Production at Star Engineers (India) Private Limited in Pune. He laid his operational foundations during a nearly decade-long tenure at UKB Electronics Pvt. Ltd. in Noida.

Yadav holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Khandari.
