Oct 2026 : Bharat Forge Ltd has recently appointed Yogesh Zope as Group Chief Information Officer (Kalyani Group). With over three decades of enterprise technology leadership, Zope steps into this expanded role to orchestrate group-wide digital transformation, streamline IT infrastructure, and align technology innovations with overarching business goals across the conglomerate.
Having served in various executive tech roles within Bharat Forge and the Kalyani Group ecosystem for nearly 30 years, Zope brings a wealth of hands-on expertise to the role. Prior to his new appointment, he served as Senior Vice President and CIO/CDO at Bharat Forge, driving corporate digitalization and IT operations. In addition to his enterprise leadership, Zope has served as Chief Executive Officer of Kalyani Technologies Limited since 2011, giving him a rare dual perspective on internal manufacturing tech needs and external technology services delivery.
Zope’s professional journey spans over 33 years, kicking off at Alfa Laval before joining Bharat Forge. Over his decorated tenure, he progressively climbed the leadership ladder as VP of IT, Group CIO, and CEO of IT Services at Kalyani Infotech Solutions Ltd.
Zope earned his Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and a Master’s in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. He has also completed executive programs at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, ISB, and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
