September 2026 : Britannia Industries Limited has recently appointed Rejin Surendran as its new Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO). Stepping into the executive role, Surendran will steer the digital roadmap for one of India’s most iconic FMCG brands, focusing on accelerating technology-led growth, operational agility, and modernizing consumer engagement.

Surendran transitioned to Britannia following an impressive tenure as Global CIO at Wipro Enterprises. With over two decades of global leadership under his belt, Surendran brings deep expertise in leveraging technology to optimize complex supply chains, elevate digital commerce, and enhance enterprise value.

Before leading global technology strategy at Wipro Enterprises, Surendran served as Head of Digital & ERP CoE for The Coca-Cola Company’s Bottling Investments Group. His career is also anchored by a prominent 13-year tenure at Unilever, progressing from Senior IT Manager to IT Director of Make & Deliver, alongside earlier technology roles at GE Healthcare, Inatech Solutions, Nexgenix, Triniti Corporation, and Ballarpur Industries.

Surendran holds a Master of Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, and a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal.
