February 2026 : Dassault Systèmes has recently announced the appointment of Shree Harsha as the new Senior Sales Director - Growth Industries, signaling a major push to align the company’s Virtual Twin technology with India’s surging national infrastructure and manufacturing goals.

With over 25 years of tenure at the French software giant, Harsha is stepping into a role designed to disrupt traditional industrial models. His mandate focuses on "Gen7 strategies" - a forward-leaning approach to fueling sectors critical to India’s sovereignty and economic expansion, including semiconductors, green hydrogen, nuclear energy, and medical devices.

Harsha’s vision centers on the power of Virtual Twin Experiences. Unlike traditional digital models, these allow for the real-time simulation and optimization of complex end objects like high-speed rail networks, smart ports, and advanced data centers.

Harsha is a rare industry veteran who has spent his entire professional journey evolving alongside the digital revolution. His career at Dassault Systèmes began in 2000 as a consultant in Japan, eventually leading him through high-impact leadership roles in Automotive, Transportation, and Financial Services.

Before this appointment, he served as the Business Strategy & Consulting Director, where he bridged the gap between Industry 4.0 and global logistics. Harsha is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and ISB.
