Epsilon Carbon Appoints Melvin Mathias as CHRO

October 2025 : Epsilon Carbon has recently announced the appointment of Melvin Mathias as its new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), signaling a strategic focus on organizational excellence and talent development. Mathias steps into the role bringing with him a rich background of over 23 years of experience in leading HR transformation across a spectrum of global organizations.

This appointment highlights the company’s commitment to reinforcing its leadership team as it looks to navigate a rapidly evolving business landscape. Mathias’s deep expertise spans several critical areas of HR, including organizational design, performance management, and building future-ready teams.

Before this appointment, he spent nearly 8 years as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, and previously served as Vice President - Human Capital at Welspun Corp Ltd. His international experience includes leading HR operations across eight countries for Transocean. Mathias began his career driving cultural and structural change initiatives at Mahindra & Mahindra.

Complementing his extensive field experience, he holds an Executive Master’s in Human Resources Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Mumbai.
