May 2026 : Greaves Cotton Limited has recently appointed Mr. Vinay Pawar as its Group Chief Technology Officer (GCTO). As the company evolves from its traditional engineering roots toward a future defined by clean energy and smart mobility, Mr. Pawar’s arrival signals a bold commitment to making technology the heartbeat of the business.

The road to Greaves has been paved with nearly 30 years of diverse, global experience. Most recently, Mr. Pawar was a driving force at Spark Minda Group, where he served as Senior VP & Business Head, leading a massive division across Pune and Chennai. His impressive career includes instrumental roles at KPIT Technologies in Germany, Continental Automotive, Robert Bosch, and ABB, where he designed some of the first control systems for India’s major refineries. He even explored the entrepreneurial side of the industry as a Co-Founder of Zoojoo.BE and Gaia Energy Projects.

This vast professional journey is supported by a Bachelor’s in Instrumentation Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, an MBA from NIBM Global, and a PGP in AI/ML from Purdue University.
