February 2025 : The International Copper Association (ICA) has appointed Rohit Pathak, Chief Executive Officer of Hindalco’s Copper Business, to its Board of Directors. This appointment recognizes his leadership in the copper industry and his commitment to driving global strategies for sustainability, growth, and best practices.

As a Board member, Mr. Pathak will play a key role in shaping global strategies for sustainability, growth, and industry best practices. His appointment further reinforces his influence in driving the future of the copper sector.

At Hindalco, Pathak has spearheaded the transformation of the Copper Business, leading significant advancements in production capacity and environmental stewardship. His leadership extends beyond Hindalco, as he also serves as President of the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) and the Indian Primary Copper Producers Association.

Before joining Hindalco, Pathak held leadership roles at Aditya Birla Group and McKinsey & Company, where he developed deep expertise in business strategy and operations.
