July 2026 : KJS Cement (I) Limited has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Arvindkumar Patil as Senior Vice President - Operations & Maintenance (Unit Head). The onboarding brings a seasoned industry leader to spearhead plant operations, drive operational performance, and fuel the company’s ongoing journey of growth.
With over 30 years of extensive experience in the cement manufacturing sector, Patil is an accomplished professional specializing in plant commissioning, operations, maintenance, process optimization, and project execution. Throughout his career, he has consistently driven plant efficiency, elevated product quality, and built high-performing teams across large-scale manufacturing environments.
Patil's career spans key executive positions across leading global and domestic cement producers. Prior to joining KJS Cement, he served as Deputy Director - Projects (Cement) at Dangote Cement Plc in Nigeria. His professional journey includes senior leadership roles at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. as Sr. Vice President & Plant Head at the Sonadih Cement Plant and Sr. Vice President - Projects Head, over 12 years as Joint Vice President & Unit Head at Shree Cement Ltd., and foundational experience at UltraTech Cement.
On the academic front, Mr. Patil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Cement & Ceramic Technology from PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi, Karnataka. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
