January 2026 : Schneider Electric has recently announced the appointment of Niharika Mohan as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for the Greater India Zone. Returning to India after a high-impact tenure in Dubai, Mohan takes the helm at a pivotal moment as the nation cements its status as a global powerhouse for R&D, manufacturing, and digital innovation.

As India accelerates its national priorities in renewable energy and infrastructure, Mohan’s role will be central to aligning Schneider Electric’s talent strategy with these ambitious goals.

Niharika Mohan brings over two decades of deep HR expertise to the role. Her journey with Schneider Electric spans nearly 12 years, including key leadership positions at Luminous Power Technologies (a Schneider Electric company). Her career began with foundational roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Hewitt Associates. Academically, she holds a BA Honours in Psychology and an MA from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College, complemented by executive leadership certification from INSEAD.
