March 2026 : In a strategic move to fortify its manufacturing backbone, Stelmec Limited - a heavyweight in the electrical power distribution and control industry - has recently announced the appointment of Vishnu Dixit as Site Operations Head for its Ahmedabad Plants.
The appointment comes at a time of rapid growth for Stelmec. Dixit is now at the helm of end-to-end operations for two greenfield in-house manufacturing facilities located in Ularia and Viramgam, alongside four outsourced panel manufacturing plants. These sites are the engine room for the company’s Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear panels, with the Ahmedabad cluster alone contributing a staggering ₹900+ Crore to the annual revenue.
Dixit’s professional trajectory is a roadmap of industrial leadership. Before joining Stelmec, he served as Vice President of Operations at Reise Mitas Tires LLP, and held a pivotal VP role at Auto Ignition Ltd. overseeing multiple locations. His experience also includes serving as Plant Head for C&S Electric Ltd. (a Siemens Group company) and nearly six years at Jakson Group (Jakson Limited) in high-level manufacturing roles across Jammu and Gujarat. Internationally, he managed heavy-duty assembly as Plant Manager for JMG Limited in Nigeria and began his senior management ascent as AGM at Action Construction Equipment Ltd.
This practical expertise is backed by a solid academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from NIIBMT, a Diploma from Rajasthan Technical University, and a specialized Certificate in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
