September 2025 : Tata Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital services, recently announced a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the equity shares of the Germany-based ES-Tec Group for a total consideration of €75 million. The strategic acquisition aims to bolster Tata Technologies' global capabilities, particularly in next-generation automotive solutions.

Founded in 2006, ES-Tec Group is a respected automotive engineering services provider with specialized expertise in Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Connected Driving, and Digital Engineering. The company, headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany, brings a talented team of over 300 professionals and strong relationships with top-tier German automotive manufacturers.

The acquisition aligns with Tata Technologies' growth strategy, providing a strategic foothold in Germany, a key hub for automotive innovation. It positions the company to capitalize on the growing European market for engineering service providers, which is driven by accelerated R&D in electrification, ADAS, and software-defined vehicles.
