September 2025 : Tenneco has recently announced the appointment of Vishal Gupta as its new Director of Operations. With over 27 years of extensive experience in manufacturing and operations, Mr.Gupta is set to lead the company's operational strategy and excellence.

Mr.Gupta brings a robust background in business turnaround, strategic planning, profitability improvement, and supply chain management. He has a proven track record of handling large-scale business operations and a wide range of expertise, including business process reengineering, cost control, and people management.

Prior to joining Tenneco, Mr.Gupta held the position of Vice President of Operations at Varroc. His career also includes significant leadership roles at other major global companies, including SKF India, where he served as BU Head and Plant Head, and Eaton, where he held the positions of Plant Head and Senior Manager. He also contributed to operations and manufacturing strategy at Schneider Electric. His extensive background is underpinned by his education, which includes a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and an MBA in Operations from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
