February 2026 : In a strategic move to strengthen its footprint across high-growth markets, IDEX India has recently announced the appointment of Dhiraj Pandit as Vice President & General Manager for its Pumps business across India and the Middle East.

Pandit, a seasoned veteran within the IDEX ecosystem, transitions into this expanded leadership role as the company continues to scale its industrial fluid handling solutions. In his new capacity, he will lead the strategic direction and operational growth of the IDEX Pumps portfolio, focusing on delivering high-performance, engineered solutions to regional customers facing complex fluid management challenges.

Pandit’s appointment comes at a time when industrial sectors in both India and the Middle East are undergoing rapid modernization, demanding smarter and more reliable pumping technologies for chemical, oil and gas, and water treatment applications.

Pandit’s career is a masterclass in industrial evolution. Since joining IDEX in 2010 as Director of Operations, he has held progressively senior roles, including Business Line Director and VP & GM for MPT (Material Processing Technologies) across India and Southeast Asia. He recently concluded a successful tenure as VP & GM for Microfluidics, an IDEX brand specializing in high-shear fluid processing.

Beyond IDEX, Pandit’s professional foundation was built at some of the industry’s most respected firms, including Asco India Ltd, Saint-Gobain Vetrotex, Asian Paints, GE Lighting India, and ABB Ltd.

His leadership is backed by a robust academic pedigree: he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a PGDBA in Manufacturing Management from the prestigious SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR).
