March 2026 : In a move to further centralize its innovation engine and accelerate digital transformation, Whirlpool Corporation has recently announced the appointment of Amandeep Singh Jassal to an expanded global leadership role. Jassal, a seasoned veteran in embedded systems and electronics, will now take the helm of the Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC).

This strategic expansion comes while Jassal continues his existing mandate as the Global Leader for Electronics and Embedded Systems, creating a powerful intersection between hardware engineering and software intelligence.

Under his leadership, the GTEC is expected to focus on enhancing operational efficiency and speed, transforming the embedded systems landscape to meet the demands of a hyper-connected global consumer base.

Jassal’s career is defined by a consistent upward trajectory in complex electrical and electronic systems. An alumnus of Punjab Engineering College and SPJIMR, his professional foundation was built over nearly seven years at Motherson in Product Engineering, followed by a stint at RNTBCI.

He then spent over 12 years at John Deere. Since joining Whirlpool Corporation over four years ago, he has transitioned from Director of Electronics and Electrical Systems to Vice President of Embedded Systems, consistently driving strategic initiatives across the global supply base.
