August 2025 : 3M India recently announced the appointment of Aseem Joshi as President and Managing Director (Designate), effective October 13, 2025. Aseem will lead the development and execution of the company's growth strategy in India, with a focus on commercial and operational excellence and new product initiatives.

Aseem, who brings 25 years of experience from leadership roles at companies like IBM, McKinsey, Eaton, and Honeywell, was most recently the CEO of GMM Pfaudler’s India business from 2021 to 2025. He holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, an MS from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Aseem will work alongside the incumbent Managing Director, Ramesh Ramadurai, to ensure a smooth transition. His designation as Managing Director of 3M India is subject to future approvals by the Board of Directors and shareholders.
