April 2026 : To bolster its manufacturing footprint and global sourcing capabilities, Aggreko has announced the appointment of Sunil Deshmukh as the Head of Procurement & Global Supply Hub. Based in Pune, Deshmukh will be instrumental in positioning India as a central node in Aggreko’s international supply chain network.

Deshmukh, a seasoned leader with over 24 years of expertise in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, joins Aggreko at a pivotal time as the industry shifts toward more resilient, localized, and digitally-driven procurement models.

Deshmukh’s career is a masterclass in navigating complex global markets. Before joining Aggreko, he served as Associate Vice President at Rieter. His deep-rooted experience in the automotive world is highlighted by an extensive tenure at ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India and the Volkswagen Group.

His professional journey also includes foundational stints at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Celetronix Power India, and Wartsila Pvt Ltd. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
