September 2026 : Trident Group India has recently appointed Subnesh Singh Tomar as Chief Manufacturing Officer - Operations. The appointment marks a homecoming for Tomar, who returns to the organization’s Barnala campus 17 years after beginning his professional journey with Trident.

In his new role, Tomar will oversee manufacturing excellence, plant maintenance, and operational scaling. He brings a rich track record of driving end-to-end spinning operations, advanced automation, cost optimization, and Industry 4.0 integration across large-scale facilities.

Tomar’s journey spans more than 25 years of hands-on technical and operational leadership across premier textile and manufacturing organizations. Before returning to Trident Group India (where he previously spent a decade across its Barnala and Budhni plants), he served as Vice President and Spinning Plant Head at Himatsingka Group. His leadership background also includes roles at Sintex Industries and Welspun Group. Tomar began his career at Aarti International and at Winsome Yarns.

Tomar holds a Diploma in Textile Technology and Engineering from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic College, Gwalior, along with an MBA in Operation Management from NIBM Global. Committed to continuous learning, he completed the AYLP program focused on smart robotics automation at SPJIMR, and an Executive General Management Program from IIM Lucknow.
