April 2026 : Atomberg Technologies, the brand that redefined the humble ceiling fan, has recently announced a major leadership reshuffle aimed at balancing its massive consumer scale with its "zero-to-one" technology ambitions.

In a move that aligns with the founders’ long-standing strengths, Sibabrata Das has stepped into the role of CEO, Atomberg Technologies. He will now steer the ship for the core consumer business, overseeing the brand's expansive portfolio of fans, water purifiers, and kitchen appliances. Meanwhile, Manoj Meena transitions to Chairman & Managing Director of Atomberg Technologies while taking on the mantle of CEO, Atomberg Innovation - a dedicated subsidiary focused on pioneering motors, drives, and cooling solutions for the wider industrial world.

The transition comes as Atomberg Innovation moves beyond home appliances, designing IP for refrigeration and air conditioning that is already finding its way to global appliance makers. As Atomberg eyes a potential IPO, this strategic split ensures that while one founder scales the household brand, the other returns to the lab to engineer the future of smart motors.

Both founders are alumni of IIT Bombay. Manoj Meena founded Atomberg after working on high-tech projects for BARC, DRDO, and the Indian Navy. Sibabrata Das co-founded a successful e-commerce venture before joining Meena to launch Atomberg. Together, they have garnered accolades including Forbes 30 Under 30, the National Entrepreneurship Award, and global recognition from WWF and UNIDO.
