July 2026 : As India’s aerospace and defense manufacturing sectors reach unprecedented momentum, building resilient, high-agility supply chains has become a top priority for industry leaders. Aligning with this growth trajectory, Avdel India has recently appointed Harish Ravishankar as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In his new role at Avdel India, Ravishankar will lead enterprise-wide operations across product supply management, procurement, vendor development, logistics, customer service, and operational governance. Working alongside the CEO and leadership team, his focus centers on boosting operational efficiency, building scalable business processes, and optimizing supply chain agility for the company’s global client base.

Ravishankar brings over two decades of cross-functional leadership in business transformation, quality systems, and supply chain optimization for global aerospace OEMs including Boeing, Airbus, and Bell Helicopters. He began his career in precision tooling at Manju Machine Tools, followed by foundational mechanical design roles at Goodrich and Dynamatic Technologies Limited. Over a multi-decade tenure at Dynamatic, he rose to leadership positions as Head of Quality (Boeing Programs) and Deputy General Manager of Production Planning. He later served as Principal Consultant at Ma Foi Connecting Dots Advisory, and most recently held the COO role at Jane Aerospace and its international affiliates.

A Mechanical Engineer from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Ravishankar is also currently completing his Master of Business Laws (MBL) at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), combining technical and operational mastery with corporate governance expertise.
