Recognizing this shift, Knauf India has welcomed Venkatraman Srinivasan as Plant Director - Sri City Plant, adding a seasoned veteran with nearly three decades of experience to the family. Venkatraman’s arrival signals a strategic reinforcement of the company’s engineering and operational capabilities as it continues to expand its footprint in the Indian market.
Venkatraman is a leader who understands that the heart of any successful enterprise lies in its ability to execute complex projects while fostering a culture of collaboration. With a career spanning over 28 years, he has built a reputation for driving high-impact engineering initiatives and managing large-scale capital projects across diverse sectors. His approach to leadership is grounded in a commitment to delivering outcomes that matter, whether through streamlining supply chains or implementing advanced energy solutions.
Before joining Knauf, Venkatraman served as the Delivery Head for FMCG at L&T Technology Services. His extensive background includes eight years at Ball Corporation as well as leadership roles at Apollo Tyres Ltd, SRF Limited, and PepsiCo-Fritolay. His early career saw him managing critical projects at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare India, Satyam Computers, and Tamilnadu PetroProducts Limited. This practical experience is backed by a solid academic foundation, including a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation from Tamilnadu College of Engineering, a PG Diploma in Finance from IGNOU, and specialized Project Management training from XLRI Jamshedpur.
