June 2026 : Poly Medicure has recently appointed Indranil Mukherjee as its CEO - APAC & India, effective June 1, 2026. This appointment comes at a pivotal phase in Poly Medicure’s growth journey, as the company looks to aggressively scale its commercial footprint and operations.

In his new role, Mukherjee will take charge of operations across India and the Asia Pacific region, driving commercial growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. Bringing more than 30 years of deep leadership experience in the medical technology sector to the table, Mukherjee is widely recognized for his strong track record of scaling businesses, leading transformation, and delivering sustainable outcomes. His extensive expertise spans vital medical domains including cardiology, surgery, critical care, nephrology, orthopedics, and diagnostics.

Before stepping into his current role at Poly Medicure, Mukherjee spent over three years as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Translumina Therapeutics. His formidable career also includes a distinguished 24-year journey with the B. Braun Group, where he rose through the ranks from Product Manager to Managing Director for India, alongside key regional roles in Malaysia and Germany. Additionally, his leadership extensions include serving as a Board Member for the Medical Technology Association of India (MTaI), an Executive Committee Member for the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Healthcare Sector for the European Business Group India.

Mukherjee holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Barkatullah University, and a PGDHHM in Hospital & Healthcare Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. He further sharpened his strategic capabilities through the Senior Management Program (SMP) at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and the Leading Business Transformation program at INSEAD.
