July 2026 : Rockwell Automation has recently appointed Arvind Kakru as the Regional Vice President - Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services. This appointment marks a homecoming for the seasoned executive, who expressed a deep sense of gratitude for his past experiences and a sharp focus on creating regional impact in this next phase of his career.

Kakru steps into the Delhi-based role fresh off a highly successful two and a half year tenure at Schneider Electric, where he served as the Vice President of Industrial Automation for Greater India. His appointment at Rockwell Automation isn't just a new job; it is a return to familiar ground where he previously spent five years, culminating in his role as Director of Sales for India. Kakru’s deep domain expertise is rooted in a massive 22-year legacy with General Electric (GE). His time at GE included serving as Business Leader for GE Intelligent Platforms, Chief Commercial Officer for GE Energy Connections, and Regional Leader for India and South Asia at GE Power - Automation & Controls.

This formidable career in industrial automation and energy management began with a strong technical foundation in West Bengal. Kakru is an electrical engineering graduate from the Regional Engineering College (now NIT), Durgapur.
