June 2026 : Terex Corporation has recently announced the appointment of Jaideep Shekhar as the new Vice President and Managing Director for Terex India. In this role, Shekhar will take the helm of Terex’s multi-faceted operations across the country. His primary mandate will be to steer the company’s localized production strategies, spearhead cross-segment market expansions, and solidify the brand's long-term commercial footprint in India's heavy machinery and materials processing landscape.

Shekhar has spent nearly two decades within the Terex ecosystem. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director for Asia and EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia) for Terex Materials Processing, where he successfully expanded global distribution networks and oversaw localized manufacturing initiatives. Before joining Terex, Shekhar built his foundation at Svedala Industri AB and Metso Minerals. He transitioned to Terex in 2007, spending nearly two decades driving the company’s regional growth across Asia and the Middle East.

Shekhar holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Minerals Processing from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad
